Balnarring Beach

Below are a few photos taken on Balnarring beach on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. The light can be so important in this type of photography and I like visualising the finished picture before taking the photo, visualisation is very important, particularly so in the days of film when doing large format black and white photography and having to adjust the processing of the negatives to match the picture in your mind. It may be a skill learned in days now past but it still works today even with digital.

The pictures were taken on a Kodak DCS Pro SLR with Zeiss lenses.
