In 1974, I photographed a Suzi Quatro concert at Festival Hall in Melbourne for EMI. First is the LP record cover that came from the concert, then the photograph that was used, followed by a few extra pictures from the concert. I also did another concert the year after so more pictures will appear in the fullness of time.

All pictures were shot on  Nikon F with either a 35mm, 50mm or 105mm prime Nikkor lenses. The 105mm f2.5 Nikkor was a great lens for this type of work, fast and sharp. It was manual focussing of course. The film was Kodak TriX 400ASA and push processed to 1600 ASA in Acufine developer.

Roger Gould, Australian international sports and advertising photographer has worked on assignment for some of the worlds leading magazines. he emerged from photographing record covers of rock and roll musicians to start one of Australia's first specialist sport press agencies, photographing tennis, cricket, golf, football as well as the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Roger is a past President of the International Tennis Photographer's Association and has conducted photography seminars for Kodak in many countries. He currently works in aerial and advertising photography.
